Stella Maris Public School was started in 1999 as an English medium school. Considering the needs of the local people the management converted the school into ICSE Syllabus in 2005.The school is owned and run by the society known as Congregation of Mother of Carmel (CMC) Vimala Province, Ernakulam. The school is situated in Udayamperoor Panchayat, Ernakulam District, which is a convenient and easily reachable place.
Stella Maris is a watchful parent striving to mould each and every child in the image of our patron Bl. Mother Mary (Stella Maris). The principal aim of the school is to impart quality education without any compromise to this modern world. This is a Christian minority instituition providing co- education and the only affiliated school with ICSE syllabus in this area. The instituitions run by the same management are reputed Teacher Education (B.Ed) College, M.Ed. And TTI and aided L.P, U.P, High school and Higher Secondary Schools in Kerala and other states.
The school imparts value education to every student for inculcating human values and for encouraging a stress free living, thereby creating quality citizens for tomorrows World. We have a team of well educated, highly motivated , enthusiastic and competent teachers who interact closely with children to make them feel the school their second home.

Academic year of the school is from June to March. The year is divided in to three terms. School time is from 9.00am to 3.00 pm.
Admission to the school is open to all. Pupil seeking admission to KG& std I should register their names in September. Admission to other classes shall be according to the availability of seats and performance of students.
